Tastemoir ("the App", "we", "us") is a private visual journaling app for iPhone, developed by Manjia Design. We believe your journal should be truly private — here's exactly what that means.
Nothing that identifies you. Tastemoir has no user account and no servers of our own. We never collect, transmit, or store your journal content.
Your journal entries — text, photos, dates, and taste selections — are stored locally on your device and do not leave it unless you explicitly enable iCloud backup in iOS Settings.
Tastemoir Plus (subscription and lifetime options) is processed entirely by Apple. We do not receive or store your payment information. Apple's Privacy Policy governs all transactions.
We use RevenueCat solely to validate purchase entitlements. RevenueCat may receive an anonymous, device-level identifier for this purpose — no personal information is shared. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
The App may request access to your photo library if you choose to add photos to an entry. Photos are embedded locally in your journal and are not transmitted anywhere.
If iCloud backup is enabled on your device, your Tastemoir data may be included in your standard iPhone backup. This is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy and controlled entirely through iOS Settings — Tastemoir has no access to your iCloud data.
We do not use advertising networks, and we never share anything you write. We may use privacy-respecting, anonymous analytics or crash-reporting tools to understand how the App is used and to fix problems. If we do, they collect only aggregate, non-personal usage and diagnostic data — never your journal entries, photos, or anything you write — and cannot be used to identify you. We will update this policy and our App Store privacy details before introducing any such tool.
Tastemoir is rated 4+. Since we collect no personal data from anyone, no special handling for users under 13 is required.
If we update this policy, we'll revise the date above. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
